Alternate Power Systems, Inc. (APSI) is a Georgia corporation founded in 1999 by Dave Straub and Jim Berry. APSI’s mission is to significantly improve the quality of life for people everywhere through the production of alternatives to traditional fuel powered electric generators.

After five years of extensive research and development, APSI currently offers two user-friendly power systems that provide electricity without noise, do not need fuel, require no maintenance and do not release damaging pollutants into the atmosphere. APSI’s products were designed to be portable and unlike fuel generators can be used indoors as well as outside.
The next phase in APSI’s evolution is by far the most significant. The company has designed more advanced backup power systems as well as stand-a-lone renewable energy systems. These designs are the result of years of study, prototyping and testing. By offering these new products APSI will be able to offer a full array of energy solutions for the billions of people around the world whose need for electric power are currently not being met.
