The APSI Power Pal

An extraordinary backup power system as small as a tool box, completely quiet, does not require fuel, and will provide 1500-watts of AC power and DC power (appliances w/cigarette lighter-type connections). The Power Pal is shown here without a battery, however, the system is designed to be used with a vehicle battery during power outages or when AC power is needed in remote areas where there is no regular grid electricity.

This system has a built-in LED meter which will display both the battery voltage and the amount of watts being used at any given time. The system also has a safety feature which shuts down the power conversion unit when the vehicle battery is discharged to 70%. This will ensure that the vehicle can be started even when the unit is accidentally left on. From refrigerators, to microwave ovens, TV's, radio's, lights, and much more, this little powerhouse can keep you out of the dark at home or away from home...anywhere, anytime you have a vehicle nearby. Many of our customers purchase additional batteries so that the Power Pal can continue its work while the used batteries are recharged by a vehicle. At under $500, with no noise, and no need for fuel, it's a POWER-full deal. Additionally, APSI has a great line of 12-volt DC appliances which use very low wattage.

The APSI Power Plant

Standing just under three feet tall and less than two feet wide, the Power Plant delivers the same 1500-watts as the smaller Power Pal but does not rely on a vehicle for operation. This systems has wheels and rolls almost as easily as a little red wagon. With two deep cycle batteries in the battery compartment, the unit has all the same bells and whistles as the Power Pal, but with significant extras:

1) An AC cord which plugs into any wall outlet and keeps the batteries automatically charged and ready for a power outage.
2) The same plug activates the ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch).

The ATS is a simple device that allows plugged-in appliances to work off your regular household or office electricity when the power is on. But when a power outage occurs, our Power Plant automatically takes over the workload without interruption. Keep it plugged in anywhere for use when the need arises. And there's more! What happens when the power outage is long?

The Power Plant has a custom set of heavy duty jumper cables which plug into the unit and attach to a vehicle with the same kind of alligator clamps used when jump-starting a dead battery. The system can be recharged over and over for extended power outages.
